On behalf of the Membership Committee, welcome to the Arrowhead Dog Agility Association, referred to internally as “the club”.

As a club, we:

• Meet Monthly
• Elect Board Members
• Put on fun runs
• Offer 4-6 week training classes throughout the summer months
• Host three (3) or more agility trials per year
• Manage our budget

The Annual Banquet is typically held in January.  This is a time when we formally recognize our dogs’ accomplishments from the past season, remember our companions who passed over the Rainbow Bridge, enjoy time together to share memorable moments at agility trials, partake in fun games and auctions, recognize new life-time members, and feast on good food.

As a new member of our club, you will be given access to our Yahoo! group and the “Members Only” area of our ADAA website.  The Yahoo! group is used to collaborate on a variety of subjects, such as trial arrangements, polling for input, and getting ready for the Annual Banquet.  (You will need a yahoo.com email address in order to log into our Yahoo! Group site.)

Volunteerism is critical to keeping the club alive and well.  As a member, you can choose to be as involved as you want.  Examples of areas where you can volunteer include:

• Work at trials hosted by ADAA
• Seek a spot on the Board
• Join one of our many committees
• Attend monthly meetings
• Compete in trials
