Club Agility Training Classes β Summer 2025
Class Descriptions:
Novice/Beginners: Dog should have completed Foundation agility training. Curriculum: Start line stays, continue to build toy/food drive, weaves, contact criteria, connection/motivation, handling/crosses, shorter sequences.
Advanced/Intermediate: Dog should have completed Beginners. Curriculum: discrimination, weaves, jumping, sequencing (handling the different crosses), distance, connection/motivation, extension/collection, start line stays. This class runs 1 hour depending on attendees/number of Instructors.
Master: Dog should have completed Advance. Curriculum: discrimination, weaves, jumping, sequencing (handling the different crosses), distance, connection/motivation, extension/collection, start line stays. This class runs 1 hours depending on attendees/number of Instructors.
Fun Runs – Agility fun runs are designed for teams of all skill levels, whether they are new to agility or experienced handlers, to have fun while training their dogs in a trial-like environment.
Classes for 2025:
Classes are held on Tuesday’s except when fun runs are scheduled. There are three blocks of classes for 2025.
Fun Run – May 13th 6:00pm
1st Block – May 20th, 27th, June 3rd, 10th, & 17th. First block is schedule to have 2 Master levels: at 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm starting out with small dogs at 6:00 and big dogs in the 7:00 slot. Advance starts at 8:00 pm.
Fun Run – June 24th 6:00 pm
2nd Block – July 1st, 15th, 22nd & 29th.
Fun Runs – August 5th & 12th 6:00 pm
3rd Block – August 26th, September 2nd, 9th, 16th.
Fun Runs – September 23rd & 30th at 6:00 pm
